"Thank you for planning such an amazing weekend away! We honestly would never have thought of Taumaruniu but Te Awa was such a stunning location and Louise has thought of every little detail. We absolutely loved opening our envelopes and the anticipation of where next! We loved the suggested bush walk at waitomo and the jet boating was so much fun and so much better being on a private tour rather than crammed in with heaps of other people. We kept joking that it was like being on an episode of The Bachelor! We have had a very memorable weekend."

"Loved how different this experience was, everything being a mystery until you got to certain destinations to open up your next envelope. Loved how everything was organized for you, with no hiccups along the way or comments of 'where should we go for dinner?' All this was taken care of which made the whole experience cruisy."

"It was such a great way to spend our 10 year wedding anniversary. So much thought and effort went into the planning of our trip and it definitely did not disappoint! It was fun exploring a different side of Christchurch that we had never thought to visit before. The accommodation was a dream, we wanted to move in permanently. The 2 dinner bookings made for us was incredible - some of the best food we've eaten. Both nights after our dinner we explored some of the local pubs as suggested and stumbled across a local live band both times. It was alot of fun."

"This was the coolest gift and best first wedding anniversary present I could have asked for. The suspense of opening each envelope is what ties this all together and Wander Weekend does such a wonderful job of building the hype. From emails telling you about the weather and what to pack, to the envelopes arriving, This is something which feels like a week long activity. We ended up flying to Christchurch and the recommendations from Josie and the team were great and unique, guiding me to a number of hidden gems I hadn't heard of and finding the most beautiful accommodation in a remote location. "Our “Wander Weekend” was absolutely amazing - from start to finish. We loved the ‘surprises’ when opening the envelopes and thoroughly enjoyed everything that had been arranged for us to do. The restaurants that had been chosen for us were perfect - the food was delicious. The accommodation was superb and we loved the fact that it was within easy walking distance of everything we wanted to do. "This was such an amazing thing to do with a group of friends. The whole weekend was perfectly planned with the right balance of surprises, planned activities and down time. The location and accommodation were perfect. We had lots of time to relax and nothing felt rushed. "We had a great weekend! Overall, the journey, destination and mystery activity were great. We went to Taupo and stopped on the way to see the Blue Springs, which was a pleasant walk. In Taupo, we enjoyed the view of the lake and the city itself. Our mystery activity was to drive a Doughboat in the lake. This was a lovely experience, because we got to make a picnic in the middle of the lake, which was an unusual, but special way to have lunch with an amazing view of  Taupo city and Tongariro. We also got to enjoy other highlights in Taupo, such as the Huka Falls, Craters of the Moon and Wairakei Terrraces. Overall, we had a great experience. Would totally recommend. 10/10!"

"My girlfriends and I went on a fun and easy road trip for my birthday. Our accomodation was amazing, a really cool location and it had a fireplace and spapool. When we arrived we found a bottle of champagne on the bed which was perfect for our birthday celebrations and so thoughtful. "We would absolutely recommend this weekend away to everybody.  It was a lot of fun to arrive at the airport not knowing where you were going and just enjoying the mystery of it all. It was definitely value for money. The accommodation we stayed at was top notch and very comfortable and the host was lovely. We booked this weekend away as a birthday getaway and Wander Weekends booked a special birthday surprise treat for us. After taking the time to find out what we enjoyed, they booked us in for Go-Karting which was right up our alley. We had a ball and we wouldn't hesitate in recommending this experience to others. If you are looking for something a little different and value for money, give Wander Weekends a try. You won't be disappointed."

We had no idea where we were going until we were well on the way! Our accommodation at Seafield View in Napier was just gorgeous and the perfect place to relax. Everything was thought of from places to grab a coffee on the drive to activities and cafes once we arrived. Our final surprise was a dinner voucher to spend at Central Firehouse - delicious!"
